I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time - ever since I got to know Calvin & Hobbes. I had to wait for the right idea to come along though. I don't know if I'll ever do more Stanly & Ron comics, but anyway, here's the first one:

I pitched the thing to mifal hapais (yes yes) they are offering a grant to produce an animated short (!) you can see it in their website. I submitted it and then they pushed back the deadline 4 monthes (nobody else pitched on time..?) so this is where it stands right now.
